The Grand Ronde Tribal Police Department was formed in 201 1 and cur
rently has five employees, including Sgt. Jake McKnight, a Tribal member
who has served in the department since it started and was the first and
only officer in the beginning. Making up the rest of the department is Chief
Al LaChance, Officers Patrick McConnell and Ron Wellborn and Senior
Administrative Assistant & Evidence Custodian Mindy Lane.
