Graduation ceremony to be held
The CTGR Education Division Graduation Ceremony will be held June
21 at 6 p.m. at the Tribal gym. Dinner will be provided.
Join us as we recognize Grand Ronde students:
Attending the K-l Chinuk language class;
Students promoting to high-school (8th-grade graduates);
High school graduates;
GED completion;
Certificatescertifications; and
College graduates.

College Placement Testing offered
College Placement Testing offered on-site at the Adult Education
Building for Chemeketa Community College, Linn-Benton Commu
nity College and Mount Hood Community College.
The Placement Test is one of the first steps to beginning college
classes.
Call 503-879-2282 to sign up for your placement test - allow about
one week for scheduling purposes
Attention GED Graduates
If you are a CTGR Tribal member and have received your GED or will
receive it between June 22, 2012, and June 21, 2013, be sure to contact the
GED Coordinator to get on the program for the CTGR Graduation Celebra
tion so that you can be recognized and receive your Pendleton blanket.

ply to each year. The majority of scholarships for fall termsemester are due
between January and April of each year. Don't miss your chance to apply for
FREE money for college! The Tribal Higher Education programs are here to
assist you in your application process.
You can also utilize a scholarship search engine to help you locate scholar
ships. If you use a scholarship search site, be sure to read the privacy policy

Grand Ronde Head Start (0-5)Preschool is now accepting applica
tions for children ages 0-5 years old and expectant mothers for the
2013-14 school year. Completed applications must be received no later
than June 28 at 3 p.m. Selection will take place July 12.

Tribal Library Summer Program: This year's theme is "DIG
Into Reading." The library's summer programs will run June 17
to July 31. Registration is required for the Reading Incentive Pro
gram. Application forms and summer program information were
available on April 27 at the annual Healthy Families Event held
on campus and at the gym along with activity session calendars.
