Availability of transportation grant funds
The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde announces the opportunity
for eligible transportation providers to apply for federal 5310 grant
funds. Funds are allocated to the Tribe by the Oregon Department
of Transportation. Grant applications are for the 2013-15 biennium.
Projects providing transportation services to seniors and persons with
disabilities are eligible for funding. Applications are available at the
Public Transit Division Web site www.oregon.govODOTPT.
The application packet includes instructions and eligibility guide
lines. Applications submitted for projects serving the Grand Ronde
community must be submitted to the Confederated Tribes of Grand
Ronde not later than 4 p.m. Jan. 4, 2013. Contact Kim Rogers at 503-879-2250

The Tribal Elders Committee is working on a volunteer phone list of
Elders. If you would like to submit your phone number and address to be
available to other Elders, send it to elders.committeegrandronde.org or

See a photo you like in Smoke Signals?
Want a copy, or several copies?
Want to see if a photo that was taken but not printed in Smoke Signals
because of space limitations might be something you'd like hanging on
your living room wall?
Tribal members can order 8-by-10 inch copies of photos taken by
Smoke Signals staff members regardless of if they were published in
the newspaper.
Charge is $1 for each print ordered.
Reprint orders must be pre-paid with a check made out to Smoke Sig
nals. A photo reprint order form is available in the Publications Office
of the Tribe's Governance Building in Grand Ronde, or can be mailed
upon request. All photos contained in Smoke Signals 'current archive are
available for purchase, but people interested in going through the archive
must make an appointment to review photos for possible purchase.
No rush orders will be permitted and requestors must allow 30 days
for delivery.
Requestors must be Tribal members.
In addition, reprint requestors must agree that the reprint is for
personal use only, and not for use in an ad, or for commercial, political
or promotional purposes. Smoke Signals reserves the right to decline a

Board meeting days and times
Below is the most current information on the meeting days and times for
Tribal Committees and Special Event Boards:
Ceremonial Hunt Board meets as needed. Chair: Shonn Leno.
Cultural Trust Board meets at 4 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month
in Modular No. 2. Chair: Perri McDaniel.
Culture Committee meets at 1 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month
in Modular No. 3. Chair: CeCe Kneeland.
Education Committee meets at 5:15 p.m. on the first Monday of the
month in the Adult Education Building. Chair: Tammy Cook.
Elders' Committee meets at 1 0 a.m. the third Wednesday of the month
in the Elders' Activity Center. Chair: Gladys Hobbs.
Enrollment Committee meets quarterly in Room 204 of the Governance
Building. Acting Chair: Robert Schmid.
Fish & Wildlife Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of
the month at the Natural Resources Building. Chair: Harold Lyon.
Health Committee meets at 10 a.m. the second Wednesday of the
month in the Tribal Wellness Center. Acting Chair: Patti Tom-Martin.
Powwow Special Event Board meets at 5 p.m. the first Thursday of
the month at the Tribal Community Center. Chair: Dana Ainam.
Rodeo Special Event Board meets at 6 p.m. the first Thursday of the
month at the Tribal Rodeo Office. Chair: Harold Lyon.
Social Services Committee meets at 4 p.m. the second Monday of
the month in the Social Services Conference Room. Chair: Jenny San
chez. Timber Committee meets at 5 p.m. the second Thursday of the month
at the Natural Resources Building. Chair: Bob Mercier.
Veterans Special Event Board meets at 4 p.m. the first and third Tues
