Volleyball nights begin
The Tribe's Recreation Program has started an open volleyball night
every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Tribal gym. Volleyball is open
to anyone who wishes to participate. For more information, contact

Erin Muchmor, dental hygianist for th Tribe, receives a gas gift
card as a prize after winning a game of bingo during the Employee
Appreciation Barbecue at the Youth Education Building on Wednesday,
Sept. 26. Luck was on her side as It was the first of two games that she
won. Bingo was sponsored by the Education Department and April
Campbell, right, Education Department manager, called the numbers
and Amber Yates, second from right, who does patient registration for
the Health & Wellness Clinic, helped her. The annual event was attended
by Tribal Council Chairman Reyn Leno, Tribal Council Vice Chair Jack
Giffen Jr., Tribal Council Secretary Toby McClary and Tribal Council
member Jon A. George. Staff members were thanked for their hard work
and conscientious spending of Tribal dollars during the past year. The
event was put on by the Tribe's Human Resources Department.
Forest passes available
The Tribe's Natural Resources Department has free annual Northwest For
est Passes available for enrolled Tribal members. The pass is valid for one
year from date of issue.
The Forest Pass is valid at day-use sites in Oregon and Washington where
"Recreation Pass Required" signs are posted.
Some examples are Hebo Lake Picnic Site, Derek Road Trailhead, Quinault
Rain Forest Trailhead, Tumalo Falls Trailhead, Lava River Cave Interpretive
Site, Crane Prairie, Bagby Hot Springs Trailhead, Wickiup Plains Trailhead,
Lake Serene Trailhead, Clear Lake Public boating site and West Fork Hum
tulips Middle Trailhead. The Forest Pass does not cover fees for snow parks,
some concessionaire-operated sites, developed campgrounds and cabin rentals,
wilderness climbing and river permits.

Biological disease
sampling discontinued
The Tribe's Natural Resource Division will be discontinuing deer
and elk biological disease sampling and annual drawing. The Oregon
Department Fish and Wildlife which conducted the lab analysis for
the Tribe, will be focusing their Chronic Wasting Disease monitoring
efforts along the Idaho and Nevada boarders and in areas where deer
and elk are farmed. Thank you to all those who have participated in

The Natural Resources is offering a final first come first serve salmon distribution to currently enrolled Grand
Ronde Tribal members who were unable to attend the August distribution and are interested. Please be ad
vised once the salmon is gone, it is gone. Again, if you were unable to attend the August distribution we would
like to welcome you. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to the satellite offices this distribution.
MEMBERSHIP MUST show Tribal I.D.
If picking up for others: a signed note with copy of Tribal I.D. is required
No early or late pick ups
