Dear Smoke Signals:
The family of Diane Giffen would like to thank our family and friends
for attending her service, as well as the help, thoughts, cards, food, flowers
and prayers we received during her illness and after her passing.
Thank you to the staff at the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. They were
very helpful and considerate during a very difficult time. Thank you to
Carmen Mercier for leading the rosary and Deacon David Briedwell for
leading the funeral services. Thank you to Toby McClary, Jeff Mercier,
Tyson Mercier, Sean O'Leary, Travis Stewart and Matthew Thomas for
being casket bearers.
Special thanks to the staff of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in
the coordination of her services and burial. Thanks also to Travis Stewart
and his crew for the singing and drumming; the Grand Ronde Royalty
for singing The Lord's Prayer; and Kristi DeLoe, her staff and those who
helped serve the meal after her services.
Thank you all for your kind words and support during this difficult time.
We apologize if we have forgotten anyone.
