Junior Miss Grand Ronde
Hello, my name is Kailiyah Krehbiel and I am
honored to be Junior Miss Grand Ronde for 2012
13. 1 am 1 1 years old and I am going in to the sixth
grade at Willamina Elementary School. While I am
Junior Miss, I plan to work hard to be a good role
model for my community by being active in Tribal
and cultural events around the Northwest. I hope
to teach other youth about what I learn during this
experience.
I would like to give a special thanks to Halona
Butler for everything she has taught me during
the last couple years. I would like to say thank you
to Dara Dickenson for making my dress and Joe
Martineau for making my moccasins. I also want to thank my family: my
dad, my mom and Ali for helping me get ready to be in this position. I re
ally appreciate all of the support I have gotten from so many people and I
plan to work really hard to make my family, friends and Tribe proud.
