K-5 2012-13 Afterschool Program for
Tribal and Native American youth
Beginning on Monday, July 16, applications for the upcoming K-5 After
school Program will be available at the Youth Education Building.
Sign-up week for the program will be Monday, July 30, through Friday,
Aug. 3, during regular business hours. Only completed applications for
this highly competitive first-come-first-served program will be accepted
(incomplete applications will not be accepted).
A checklist of required documentation that needs to be included with the
completed application will be attached to the application form.
Eligibility requirements, as stated through the Child Care Develop
ment Fund Grant, states that parent(s)guardian(s) must be in school,
working or in a training program during operational hours for a youth to
participate.
The program will begin on Monday, Aug. 27.
As space is limited, a waiting list will be created for those applicants
who are not awarded one of the few open spaces.
The program is open to all Tribal, descendant and Native American
students.
