Elder's bingo changes days
In December, bingo at the Elders' Activity Center will be held on Sat
urday afternoons. A potluck meal will start at 1 p.m. and bingo begins
at 1:30 p.m. Because of the holidays, December bingo will be held on the
17th and 31st. In January, bingo will go back to the second and fourth
Saturday of the month, Jan. 8 and 22.

Graves teaching weekly
basket weaving class
Tribal Elder Connie Graves teaches a basket weaving class at 12:30
p.m. Tuesdays in the Elders' Activity Center.
The class is open to the public.

Powwow dance class set
The Tribe's Cultural Resources Department is offering a powwow dance
class from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Adult Education Building.
This is a family dance class for all ages that teaches all powwow dance

DECREE CHANGING NAME

Petitioner.
Based on the allegations set forth in the Petition for Change of Name
filed by Petitioner on October 12, 2011, and the sworn testimony of
Petitioner at the hearing on the Petition on November 30, 2011,
THE COURT FINDS:
1. This Court has jurisdiction over the Petitioner and the subject mat
ter of the Petition herein;
2. The Petitioner is over 18 years of age;
3. The Petitioner is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes
of the Warms Springs Reservation, and is a resident of the Grand
Ronde Reservation;
4. The Petitioner has not petitioned and been granted a change of name
by the Tribal Court within the past twelve (12) months;
5. The Petitioner does not have any creditors, has no former spouse,
and no other persons are entitled to notice of the Petition.
NOW THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED:
1. That the name of the Petitioner be changed from Lance Nelson Ike
to Lanell Nelson Ike;
2. That the Clerk of the Tribal Court shall cause a copy of this order
to be published in the Tribal Newsletter;
3. That the Clerk of the Tribal Court shall submit a certified copy of
this order to the Warm Springs Tribal Enrollment office;
4. The Clerk of the Court shall provide a certified copy of the Order to
the Oregon State Department of Vital Statistics.

Housing Board of Commissioners
seeking members, Tribal or non-Tribal
The Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority Board has multiple Board
of Commissioners seats expiring in March 2012. The positions have a
terms expiring in March 2015.
Interested persons should have a demonstrated interest in housing
and experience in the housing field in some capacity, including:
affordable housing development;
property management;
residential building construction;
housing finance;
housing planning;
other housing related areas.
The board oversees all housing development, housing management,
housing programs and housing operations for the Tribe and is respon
sible for policy decisions. The Board currently meets at 5 p.m. on the
third Tuesday of each month at the Housing Authority office in Grand
Ronde and hold work sessions as needed.

sidered. The Housing Board candidates will be interviewed by a panel of
Housing Board members. The board will then make recommendations to

Petitioner at the hearing on the Petition on November 30, 2011,
THE COURT FINDS:
1. This Court has jurisdiction over the Petitioner and the subject mat
ter of the Petition herein;
2. The Petitioner is over 18 years of age;
3. The Petitioner is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of
the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon.
4. The Petitioner has not petitioned and been granted a change of name
by the Tribal Court within the past twelve (12) months;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED:
1. That the name of the Petitioner be changed from Gabrielle Ann
Motheral to Gabrielle Ann Colton;
2. That the Clerk of the Tribal Court shall cause a copy of this order
to be published in the Tribal Newsletter;
3. That the Clerk of the Tribal Court shall submit a certified copy of
this order to the Tribal Enrollment office;
4. That the Petitioner shall surrender all old Tribal Identification cards
bearing Petitioner's former name to the Tribal Enrollment office prior
to the Enrollment office issuing Petitioner new Tribal Identification
; cards bearing the Petitioner's new name;
,,-5.: That within sixty (60) days from the date of this order the Tribal
Enrollment staff and if necessary the Tribal Enrollment Committee
shall cause new Tribal Identification cards to be issued to Petitioner
showing the new name of the Tribal member and shall change the
official membership roll and all official enrollment records of the
Tribe to reflect the Petitioner's new name as stated in this Decree;
6. The Clerk of the Court shall provide a certified copy of the Order to
the Oregon State Department of Vital Statistics.
