REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Tribal Building Official Services The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Grand Ronde, Oregon The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde is seeking contract services for administration of the Tribal Building Code Ordinance and provide permitting, plan review and inspection services for Tribal projects. The Tribal Building Official will be responsible for administering the Tribal Building Code Ordinance on all trust parcels. Public Notice: December 15, 2011 Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) Program Community Development Statement Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Food Bank Project Tribal Council met on Dec. 1, 2011, and reviewed project sugges tions received from community meetings and surveys and directed staff to prepare an ICDBG application for the design and construc tion of a food bank. The proposed 3,000 sq. ft. food bank project will provide a community services facility designed as a food bank and capable of handling and meeting USDA commodities program re quirements for our community. The application will be submitted by the Grand Ronde Tribe working in cooperation with the Grand Ronde Community Resource Center, which will operate the food bank in the proposed facility. The estimated cost is $667,000, including $500,000 requested from the proposed Indian Community Development Block Grant and $167,000 from the Tribe less any potential NAHASDA eligible assistance that the Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority may be able to provide. A facility operation and maintenance budget of $30,000 a year is planned.
