Restoration Committee seeks
historic and Walking On photos
The Tribe's 28th Restoration Celebration Committee is seeking historic
photos of past celebrations held at the recently purchased WillaminaGrand
Ronde Middle School and photos of Tribal members, family members and
community members who have walked on since the last Restoration cel
ebration on Nov. 22, 2010.
The photos will be used for a commemorative slideshow to be shown dur
ing the 28th Restoration Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the recently
purchased WillaminaGrand Ronde Middle School.
Please submit photos to newsgrandronde.org or call the Tribe's Publica
tions Department at 503-879-1463 for more information. Please include full
name of the person who has walked on, as well as date of birth and death.

Restoration group seeks vendors, drums
The Tribe's 28th Restoration Celebration Committee is seeking
vendors for this year's event on Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the recently
purchased WillaminaGrand Ronde Middle School.
Vendors will be needed from noon to 9 p.m. and be located in the
newly purchased WillaminaGrand Ronde Middle School. Space is
limited. Deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.
In addition, drum groups are being sought for the Restoration
Powwow. Deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.

teers to help plan this year's event to be held Tuesday, Nov. 22.

Youth Prevention plans three trainings
The Tribal Youth Prevention and Behavioral Health programs are
sponsoring three trainings on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 6-7, in the Adult
Education Building Rooms 124 A & B.
The trainings are free and meals will be provided.
Michael Nerney will present "Is There a Bully in the Classroom?" from
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and "Parenting for Academic Success" from
6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
"Kids in the Candy Store (Household Items with Abuse Potential)" will
be presented from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
The trainings are open to anyone who would like to attend. B

Ceremonial Hunt Board meets as needed. Chair: Shonn Leno.
Cultural Trust Board meets at 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each
month. Chair: Perri McDaniel.
Culture Committee meets at 1 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month
in Modular No. 3. Chair: Kathy Provost.
Education Committee meets at 5:15 p.m. on the first Monday of the
month in the Adult Education Building. Chair: Shelby Rogers.
Elders' Committee meets at 10 a.m. the third Wednesday of the month
in the Elders' Activity Center. Chair: Gladys Hobbs.
Enrollment Committee meets quarterly in Room 204 of the Gover
nance Building. Acting Chair: Robert Schmid.
Fish & Wildlife Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of
the month at the Natural Resources Building. Chair: Harold Lyon.
Health Committee meets at 10 a.m. the second Wednesday of the
month in the Tribal Wellness Center. Acting Chair: Patti Tom-Martin.
Powwow Special Event Board meets at 5 p.m. the first Thursday of
the month at the Tribal Community Center. Chair: Dana Ainam.
Rodeo Special Event Board meets at 6 p.m. the first Thursday of the
month at the Tribal Rodeo Office. Acting Chair: Harold Lyon.
Social Services Committee meets at 4 p.m. the second Monday of the
month in the Social Services Conference Room. Chair: Ron Hudson.
Timber Committee meets at 5 p.m. the second Thursday of the month
at the Natural Resources Building. Chair: Bob Mercier.
Veterans Special Event Board meets at 4 p.m. the first Tuesday of the
month in the Tribal Community Center. Chair: Dakota Whitecloud.
