From Eugene, take Highway 126 west toward Mapleton. At approximately
mile marker 27.5, turn left on Siuslaw River Road.
From Mapleton to Eugene, turn approximately at mile marker 26.5 to the
right on Siuslaw River Road. Look for signs with balloons for your turn off.
Bring lawn chairs and favorite food dish. Eat at noon.

The sixth annual Native American Housing to Homeownership Fair will
be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at the NAYA Family
Center, 5135 N.E. Columbia Blvd., Portland.
The event features informative workshops on rental housing, first-time
home buying, gardening and healthy homes. Staff from local banks, Real
tors, non-profit and Tribal housing organizations will attend.
Attendees can enter to win a raffle for prizes, rent assistance or down
payment assistance. Nawitka Catering will provide a free lunch.
