About 1 5 youth participated to help raise about $500 that will be used
to purchase a basketball hoop for the covered area at Youth Education.

Wednesday, June 1 5, at the Tribe's Education complex. Tribal Elder
Violet Zimbrick and Tribal member Meghan Zimbrick donated their
time and expertise to make the fry bread.

There are numerous scholarship opportunities offered for students to
apply to each year. The majority of scholarships for fall termsemester are
due between January and April of each year. Don't miss your chance to
apply for FREE money for college! The Tribal Higher Education programs
are here to assist you in your application process.
You can also utilize a scholarship search engine to help you locate schol
arships. If you use a scholarship search site, be sure to read the privacy
policy to ensure you are using a site that will not sell your contact infor

j RESPONSIBILITIES j
1. All full-time students are required to file the Free Application
J for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. A copy of the FAFSA j
f and Student Aid Report (SAR) must be submitted to the Tribal
J Education Program.
2. All full-time students are responsible for having their grade '
I reports sent to the Higher Education Programs upon completion I
I of each termsemester. I
3. All full-time students must maintain a 2.00 GPA and success-
fully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per termsemester to
remain eligible for funding. i
4. Full-time students who do not meet the minimum academic
requirements will be placed on academic PROBATION. Students
who are placed on PROBATIONARY STATUS will not be awarded !

I NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL I
GRADE REPORT
TRANSCRIPTS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED.
I 5. Failure to meet the minimum academic requirements during the
. probationary termsemester will result in SUSPENSION. .
6. Full-time students must notify the Higher Education Programs
' of address, telephone and e-mail changes as soon as they occur. '
I 9. Each year full-time students must sign a "Release of Informa-
I tion" form allowing correspondence with the school of attendance I
I regarding financial aid, educational budget, attendance and grade I
reports.
10. Students who withdraw or do not complete a termsemester
will be required to reimburse the Higher Education Programs for
funding received for the termsemester.
