Attention Grand Rondo Tribal Elders
We stated in the last mail out there would be an Elder Committee
Election at the December Birthday MeetingMeal. Due to our need
to change the By-Laws first, the only election will be at the January
General Council meeting. We apologize for any confusion on this is

Financial Aid Night set for Dec. 8
There will be a Financial Aid Night for anyone interested in going
to college beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Willamina High
School.
Parents, current students or high schoolGED graduates returning
to school will learn more about ways to pay for a college education.
The event is free and open to the public.

The Grand Ronde Saddle Club is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon
day, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday
near the old Grand Ronde Food Bank off Grand Ronde Road.
The club is closed on Thursday and Sunday.
Everyone is invited to visit the horses and take a ride.

Food Bank seeds help
The Grand Ronde Food Bank is seeking volunteers to help with pre-as-sembling
and distribution of Christmas food boxes.
The Food Bank plans on assembling Christmas food boxes on Wednes
day, Dec. 15, and distributing the boxes from Friday, Dec. 17, through
Monday, Dec. 20.

Michaels to play Spirit
Mountain Casino
Former Poison lead singer Bret Michaels, who gained recent
publicity by participating in "Celebrity Apprentice" with Donald
Trump and recovering from a mysterious brain hemorrhage, will
bring his "Custom Built Tour" to Spirit Mountain Casino on Fri
day, Dec. 3.
Tickets for the concert start at $15 and are available by visiting
www.spiritmountain.com.
As lead singer of Poison, Michaels was heard on the Top 40
singles "Something to Believe In," "Nothin' But a Good Time" and
"Every Rose Has Its Thorn." He also can be seen on the VH-1 show
"Rock of Love." D
