Tribal Competitive Scholarships
Applications are now available for 2010 CTGR Competitive Scholarships.
Applicants must be enrolled members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand
Ronde. New for 2010 is the online application process. To apply online,
visit www.grandronde.orgtemplate.aspx?id4172. Call Education if you
are unable to apply online at 1-800-422-0232, ext. 1345. The early bird
deadline is April 1 and the final deadline is April 30. Applications received
by April 1 will receive one additional point to the total score.

The Morris K. Udall Native American Congressional Internship program
is a fully funded 10-week summer internship in Washington, D.C., for
Native American and Alaska Native undergraduate, graduate and law
students. Interns work in congressional and agency offices where they have
opportunities to research legislative issues important to Tribal communi
ties, network with public officials and Tribal advocacy groups and enhance
their understanding of nation building and Tribal self-governance. The
foundation provides airfare, housing, per diem and a $1,200 educational
stipend. Applications must be received by Jan. 29, 2010. For more infor

OSAC scholarship applications
Applications are now available for the 2010 Oregon Student As
sistance Commission Scholarships. Each year OSAC administers
more than 400 scholarships though their application. Application
deadline is March 1, or to enter for a $500 Early Bird Scholarship,
by Feb. 15. Out-of-state students who are members of Oregon Tribes
and attending Oregon schools are also able to apply. For more in

Free MBA Program at
Wake Forest University
The Master of Art in Management program is designed specifically for
liberal arts majors only. The MA degree program is a 10-month intense
study of the basic functional areas of business. After graduation and
working for approximately two years, all MA graduates are eligible to
apply to Wake Forest as part of the MAMBA joint degree program and
get the MBA in one year. The new Dean, Steve Reinemund, has created a
new scholarship for diverse students pursuing the MA degree called the
Corporate Fellowship.
The Corporate Fellowship provides full tuition and a $21,000 stipend
to cover living expenses. Additionally, each Corporate Fellow will partici
pate in a practicum. The practicum has two components: educational and
professional development. Each student will be assigned a mentor who
is a high level executive with their sponsor corporation. The mentor will
oversee an educational project covering four of the functional areas of
business using their own corporation as the subject.
