Tribal members Audrey Mercier, left, and Ashten Leno plug their
noses as they try a piece of sushi during a Restoration lesson in the
Tribal Chinuk kindergarten class on Tuesday, Nov. 17. This lesson
was to teach the kids about new foods that were introduced to their
ancestors and them having to eat it or they would go hungry. Below,
students in the Tribal Chinuk kindergarten class participate in their
Trail of Tears walk on Grand Ronde Road on Wednesday, Nov. 1 8.
