Grand Rondo Head StartPreschool
applications now being accepted
Grand Ronde Head StartPreschool applications for the 2009-10 school
year are now being accepted. Contact Sandy Bobb at 503-879-2161 or
by e-mail at sandra.bobbgrandronde.org for an application. Completed
applications must be turned in no later than Friday, July 17, at 5 p.m.
Selection will take place Friday, July 31. Children with disabilities are
strongly encouraged to apply (transportation may be provided).

David Lewis, left, received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the
University of Oregon during graduation exercises held June 1 3
in Eugene. Tribal member Stephanie M. Wood joined Lewis in the
graduation exercises. Wood earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. Both
studied in the university's Anthropology Department.

sponsored by the Recognition Committee. Member Services Specialist
and Tribal member Reina Nelson received the award for prettiest hat
and Education's GED Coordinator Joanne Carr won for funniest.
