Winter recycle center hours
The recycle center will be open during the following hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. We are sorry for
any inconvenience this may cause you, but we have found it necessary to put
tighter control on this service. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO DUMP PER
SONAL GARBAGE OR YARD DEBRIS AT THE SITE. If you see someone
abusing this privilege, contact Mike Larsen at 503-879-2407.
West Valley Assistance Fund
Sheridan Baptist Church has established an assistance fund at Bank
of America to help those associated with Willamina Lumber who have
been affected by layoffs and wage cuts. Donations to this fund can be
made at any Bank of America banking center, made payable to Sheridan
Baptist Churchy Donations also can be made at the Sheridan Baptist
Church' 643 E. Main St., Sheridan, Ore., 97378, Tuesday to Friday,
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They also can be mailed to Sheridan Baptist Church,
West Valley Assistance Fund, P.O. Box 595, Sheridan, Ore., 97378. All
