The event will honor Josie Faris, the Tribe's new Senior Miss Grand Ronde. The forum is open to Tribal members who may be interested or have questions about Royalty. A sign-up desk will be available with applications for girls who want to run for Royalty 2008-09. The event will start at 6 p.m. with an honor song and invocation and a potluck dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. The forum will follow. In addition to keeping the trees in shape, the trimming will open the small woodland area to more sun so grass will grow and the grounds crew can install picnic tables for Tribal members' and Elders' use during the spring, summer and fall months. Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority OPPORTUNITY FOR COMMENT ON GRTHA'S ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REPORT UNDER THE HUD INDIAN HOUSING PLAN The Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority (GRTHA) has re ceived grants under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996, as amended. HUD provides grants to Indian Tribes and Indian Housing Authorities for the develop ment and operation of low-income housing in Indian areas. To be eligible for the grants, the Housing Authority must submit an an nual Indian Housing Plan that meets the minimum requirements of the Act, and submit regular performance reports to HUD. Tribal members are hereby notified that the Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority has prepared the 2007 Annual Performance Report (APR), and comments on the report are welcome. All com ments will be incorporated into the final report. Copies of the report are available by calling GRTHA at 503-879-2101, or at 800-422-0232, ext. 2401. Copies of the APR can also be picked up at the GRTHA office in Grand Ronde. Comments must be submitted in writing to GRTHA no later than 5 p.m. on March 25.
