PathwayOregon is a promise that tuition and fees for quali
fied, federal Pell Grant-eligible Oregonians will be covered by
federal, state and institutional grants and scholarships at the
University of Oregon. For students selected for the additional
housing award, the UO ensures that they have grant funding
equivalent to the cost of university housing's double room with a standard
meal plan each year. In addition, PathwayOregon students will have grant
assistance to cover the cost of their enrollment in a course designed to help
them polish the skills they need to be a successful university student.

The workshops will be taught by Northwest Computer Learning Center
and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the computer lab in the Adult Educa
tion Building.
Cost for a workshop is $150 and eligible Tribal members can apply to
the Noncredit Program (formally Short Term Training) for assistance with
registration costs. Space is limited to the first 15 who register.

FULL-TIME STUDENT
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. All full-time students are required to file the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAS FA) each year. A copy of the FAS FA
and Student Aid Report (SAR) must be submitted to the Tribal
Education Program.
2. All full-time students are responsible for having their grade
reports sent to the Higher Education Programs upon completion of
each termsemester.
3. All full-time students must maintain a 2.00 GPA and success
fully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per termsemester to
remain eligible for funding.
4. Full-time students who do not meet the minimum academic
requirements will be placed on academic PROBATION. Students
who are placed on PROBATIONARY STATUS will not be awarded
the following term until they have provided a copy of their grade
reporttranscript.
NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL GRADE REPORT
TRANSCRIPTS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED.
5. Failure to meet the minimum academic requirements during
the probationary termsemester will result in SUSPENSION from
the program.
6. Full-time students must notify the Higher Education Programs
of address, telephone and e-mail changes as soon as they occur.
9. Each year full-time students must sign a "Release of Informa
tion" form allowing correspondence with the school of attendance
regarding financial aid, educational budget, attendance and grade
reports.
10. Students who withdraw or do not complete a termsemester
will be required to reimburse the Higher Education Programs for
funding received for the termsemester.

tending school.

Graduation Sponsorship Program is available to Grand Ronde Tribal
members who are graduating from a high school, collegeuniversity or
tradeapprenticeship program.
The program will pay up to $100 toward graduation expenses (cap, gown
andor announcements).
Admission and Testing Fee Assistance Program is available to
Grand Ronde Tribal members who are applying for admission to colleges
and universities or are in need of testing fee assistance for college-level
testing (SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.).
The program will pay up to $200 toward admission and testing fees per
academic year.

Summer intern positions in
biological Sciences Otto,
North Carolina, are available
These positions are in the Biological Sciences and are through the Forest
Service, Southern Research Station, Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory. To
qualify, students must: (1) Be in good academic standing; (2) Be currently
enrolled in a college or university; and (3) Plan on returning to college or
university in fall 2008.
The rate of pay ranges from $11.37-$12.77hour depending on educa
tion and experience. A limited amount of housing is available on site for
$100month.
