Smoke Signals 9 DECEMBER 1, 2007 Smoke Signals adopts new reprint policy See a photo you like in Smoke Signals? Want a copy, or several copies? If so, Smoke Signals has adopted a new reprint policy regarding photos that appear in the newspaper. Readers can order either 8-by-10 or 5-by-7-inch copies of photos that have appeared in Smoke Signals. Charge is $10 for the first print and $5 each for subsequent prints regardless of size. Reprint orders must be pre-paid with a check made out to Smoke Signals. A photo reprint order form is available in the Publications Office of the Tribe's Governance Building in Grand Ronde, or can be mailed upon request. Photos available for reprint are limited to pictures that were published (no outtakes) and have appeared within the previous six months of when the reprint order is received. No rush orders will be permitted; requestors must allow 30 days for delivery. Requestors must be Tribal members. In addition, reprint requestors must agree that the reprint is for personal use only, and not for use in an ad, or for commercial or promotional purposes. Smoke Signals reserves the right to refuse a reprint request. She was 48. Mrs. Zimmer was born March 11, 1959, in MeMinnville to Kenneth and Darlene (Sheker) LalTerty. She grew up in Portland, attending Lane Elementary School and Franklin High School. She also lived in Albany and Grand Ronde. She married Joseph Zimmer on June 25, 1988, in Long Beach, Calif., and worked as a housekeeper for Portland and Gresh- am area assisted living centers. At the time of her death, she was working as a housekeeper for the Tribe. Mrs. Zimmer en joyed shopping, computers, drives in the woods, pow-wows, collectibles (especially Coca-Cola products), car toons and homemade noodles. She was very proud of her Indian heritage. She is survived by her husband, of Grand Ronde; parents, of Grand Ronde; children, Nichole Isbell of Grand Ronde, Dakotajean Zimmer of Grand Ronde, Cheyeanne Zimmer of Sheridan and Timothy James Grcfsrud of Grand Ronde; grandchildren, Chantel Grcfsrud and Mikaya-jay Norwest-Grefsrud; broth ers, William Lafferty of Grand Ronde and Kenny Paul LalTerty of Elgin; and sister, Margie Marie Fcchtner of Grand Ronde. Visitation was held Nov. 23 at the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Tribal funeral ceremonies were held Nov. 24 at the Tribal gymnasium and burial followed at the Tribal Cemetery on Grand Ronde Road. A dinner to celebrate Mrs. Zimmer's life was held following the graveside services in the Tribal Community Center. Bollman's Funeral I lome in Dallas handled the arrangements.
