What: Financial Aid Night: Learn the basics of financial planning for col
lege and what you can start doing now.
Topics: Types of federal financial aid, what's needed to complete the
FAFSA, parent responsibilities to complete the FAFSA, how to request
an online PIN to complete the FAFSA online, and other possible sources
of financial aid for college (scholarships, etc.)
Extras: Free pizza and door prize drawings. This event is free and open
to the public.

University of Oregon to visit Grand Ronde!
When: Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, 4-5 p.m.
Where: CTGR Adult Education Building Room 126
Who: Anyone interested in the University of Oregon
Learn about current programs and services that the U of O offers. Sev
eral offices will be represented including: the Office of Institutional Equity
and Diversity, Sapsik'wala, Teacher Education Program, Admissions,
Financial Aid, Office of Multicultural Support and the Native American
Student Union leaders.
Do you need funding assistance
with graduation costs or
admissiontesting fee costs?
Graduation Sponsorship Program is available to Grand Ronde Tribal
members who are graduating from a high school, collegeuniversity or
tradeapprenticeship program. The program will pay up to $100 towards
graduation expenses (cap, gown andor announcements).
Admission and Testing Fee Assistance Program is available to
Grand Ronde Tribal members who are applying for admission to colleges
and universities or are in need of testing fee assistance for college, level
testing (SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.). The program will pay up to $200 towards
admission and testing fees per academic year.

Portland State is hosting "Bridges," an annual open house for high school
students from ethnically diverse backgrounds who are exploring college
opportunities.

The workshops will be taught by Northwest Computer Learning Center
and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the computer lab in the Adult Education
Building. Cost for a workshop is $150 and eligible Tribal members can ap
ply to the Noncredit Program (formally Short Term Training) for assistance
with registration costs. Space is limited to the first 15 who register.
