Detroit District Ranger Paul Matter addressed a group of Grand Rondc
and Siletz Tribal youth, as well a group from Chemawa Indian School, on
Thursday, Oct. 18. The students attended the American Indian Student
Education Enhancement Day at the Detroit Ranger Station in Detroit, Ore.

We have once again reached the time of year when it is very important
to pay attention to your scheduled appointment time. For example, all
Siletz Tribal offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12, for Veterans Day,
Monday, Nov. 19, for Restoration Day, Thursday, Nov. 22, for Thanksgiv
ing Day and the 23rd also. For that reason, we will be distributing in the
Salem warehouse a week early, starting on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
