Salmon distribution is for any Grand Ronde Tribal member who
has NOT received their annual allotment.

ment. A note and Tribal ID cards (copies are OK) are required for any
Tribal member whom you are picking up salmon for.

Dear Smoke Signals:
We would like to thank everyone who helped with the fundraising events
for our daughter Carmen's healing ceremony.
Thank you Jackie and Dwayne for the use of your teepee and Donny
and Cathy for setting it up. Thank you for all those who helped with the
cooking.
Thank you everyone who prayed for her. A special thank you to True,
Promise and Mike. It was good to see the young people involved.
Thank you to Social Services Manager Dave Fullerton and Health and
Wellness's Business Office Manager Tresa Mercier for your help in getting
a lift and scooter for Carmen.
Thank you LaDonna for making the ceremony happen.

Council. I appreciated and greatly enjoyed the opportunity to meet my
fellow Tribal members and discuss the Tribal issues that are most im

Dear Tribal Council:
I wanted to take a minute and thank you for giving your membership
voice in the recent ballot concerning Tribal Council members serving on
the SMGI gaming board.
That is a first for your non-local membership to have a voice in their
government. It was huge of you to ask us what we thought and then say
you would abide by what we decided.
Giving us a voice was the greatest gift you could ever give to your people.
Hopefully you will ask your membership for more advisory votes in the
future.
