Portland Area Tribal Members:
A meeting will be held on Nov. 5, 2007, at 6 p.m. to discuss the future of
the Portland Area Office and the services it provides to the PDX member
ship. Tribal Council has left it up to the membership to decide the fate of
this important institution. If you would like to contribute to the discussion,
make recommendations about the services and cultural programs currently
offered andor future services that might be offered in the Portland Area,
or if you have never been to the Portland Office and wish to stop by, we
would love to have your input. Since the Portland Office is a family, we
will celebrate our meeting with a potluck dinner.
Our goal is to present Tribal Council with a detailed action plan that
outlines the future of the Portland Area Office and presents a cost-effective
analysis for which the Tribe can continue to operate the satellite of
fice. We will also be seeking members for a committee that will function
to find a suitable permanent office for the Tribe to consider purchasing
in accordance with Tribal Council's stated goals. Portland Area members
are preferred but all Tribal members are welcome.
The Portland Satellite Office is located next to the Ross Island Bridge
at 3.312 S.W. Kelly Ave., Portland, Oregon 97201
