The Elders are planning a garage sale in September to make money
for our new Elder center. When you are cleaning and throwing away
what you don't want anymore, remember us. We will pick up, if we
are physically able, or we will talk to some one who is able to pick it
up. Everything will be appreciated. We are in the process of finding
storage for the items. We will be glad to take anything whenever you

Native Gangs and Drugs, Continuum of Care, After School Preven
tion, Measure 11 "Community Re-Entry Programs, Community
Resourcs, Law Enforcement Interdiction Traffic Stops.

Board of Directors Position Open
Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. invites dynamic business orien
tated individuals to apply to the Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc.
Board of Directors. There is one available board position open for a
qualified individual (Tribal and non-Tribal members) that possess
the appropriate business knowledge and experience.
The SMGI board of directors is responsible to the Confederated
Tribes of Grand Ronde Tribal Council and oversees fiscal account
ability, budgets, policies, procedures, and business operations of
Spirit Mountain Casino.
The SMGI Board meets twice monthly and each board member
receives a stipend each month for their participation.
Qualifications should include general business knowledge, ex
perience in hospitalitycustomer service driven environment, ten
years of experience in a responsible business position, and strong
financial experience. Knowledge of Native American owned and
operated organizations preferred but not mandatory. There should
also be a demonstrated ability to be responsive to the goals of the
business and its increasing dynamic character with appropriate
analytical and communication skills. Ability to pass a thorough
background check and obtain a gaming license is necessary.
