Veterans' Pow-wow Pullout Smoke Signals

On the weekend of July 6-8, the Tribe and the Veterans' Committee held
their annual Grand Ronde Veterans' Pow-wow. There was a royalty
pageant for Veterans' Royalty on Friday evening. On Saturday, there was
one grand entry at noon and another held at 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, there
was one grand entry held at noon. Victor Fry served as the Arena Director
(Whipman), Siletz Tribal member Nick SixKiller and Grand Ronde Tribal
member Bob Tom both served as emcees. The White Wolf Singers were
the host drum. There was a dinner served on Saturday evening and a
breakfast served on Sunday morning.
