in the loss of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, sister,
and friend Eleanor Kimsey. Your, kindness and generosity are greatly
appreciated. Again, we thank you from our hearts.

To Tribal Council and extended family,
I wish to express my heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation for the
generosity shown to me on the death of my beloved brother and uncle
Joseph D. Candito. He was a member for such a short time but was so
elated when he was accepted. We are grateful for the help we received at
this sorrowful time. Everyone we spoke to on the phone was helpful and
courteous. Thank you so much.

Dear Smoke Signals,
I am very glad that there is a satellite office here in Eugene. I knew that
there was one out here when I lived in Grand Ronde, but I didn't know what
to expect. I was able to work through the Siletz WEX Program, but I wish
there was a full-time position so I could have a permanent job. Everyone
I've met through the office has been very friendly to me and my family.
It's been good to have a place to fit right into when I moved to Eugene. I
wish that we could be in the service area and that we could expand the
building. There also needs to be more employee opportunities out here
because I really wanted to work for the Tribe.

The Eugene Satellite Office is a warm and educational environment. The
staff is friendly and able to answer questions from anyone who comes in
or calls. If they can't answer immediately, they will call you back as soon
as they have the information or direct you to someone at the main Tribal
Offices in Grand Ronde who can help you.

Dear Smoke Signals,
The Eugene Satellite Office has been beneficial in many aspects. There
is a definite connection felt with the Grand Ronde Tribe. Many of our
people who access the satellite office expanded their knowledge of how's
who, more Tribal friends, brothers and sisters. Every program the Tribe
offers or encourages is on file or displayed in the lobby. It is staffed with
very cordial and dedicated leaders. There are members that get to know
more people and become closer friends. There are abundant activities
and get togethers at the office. There are year round trips planned for
members. The satellite office is definitely here for the good and use for our
members. It is doing well and I think it can do better with the continued
support of the Grand Ronde Tribe.
