Dear Grand Ronde Community,
In behalf of the Native American Youth and (NAYA) Family Center's
Board of Directors, Staff, and Community Partners, we would like to
thank Tony Johnson, Cultural Education Coordinator for attending and
participating in our open house this past September.
As a Chinook and employee of the Grand Ronde Tribes, Tony represented
your people very well, and we deeply appreciate his presence, officially
granting permission to use these lands. His Chinook stories and songs
gave those in attendance the sense that our ancestors were there with us
as well as a very real part of the evening's festivities, there to offer their
guidance and wisdom as we embark on a journey of empowerment and
support in the lives of our Native American Community.
We thank Tony Johnson for all the time and energy spent educating
others regarding the rich history and culture of The Confederated Tribes
of the Grand Ronde.

All Tribal Offices will be closing on Tuesday, November 21 at noon
and will be closed on Wednesday, November 22 in observance of Res
toration Day. Offices will also be closed on Thursday, November 23
and Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving.
