Attention Students & Parents:
Avoid Scholarship Scams
If you are currently searching for scholarships and getting ready to apply
for federal student financial aid, avoid scholarship scams. Never pay anyone
to fill out applications for you, or for services that guarantee you money for
college. This is a very common scam. Some companies will contact you by
email or mail. If anyone says you are pre-qualified for a scholarshipgrant
or asks for a credit card number first, beware! If you need help searching for
scholarships or assistance with your applications, contact your high school
counselor, financial aid office, or the CTGR Education division. CTGR Educa
tion can be reached at 1-800-422-0232 ext 2275 or 50... 275.
