Two Eay M'de Tanning Workshop
On June 1 and 2 the Cultural Resources Department is spon
soring a class for those interested in learning hide tanning.
Margaret Matthewson will present a comprehensive course on
the tanning of hides including, bear, buffalo, deer and a variety
of small mammals.
The course will begin on Thursday, June 1st and run from 4
to 7:30 p.m. (later if weather permits). Friday, June 2 will be an
all-day, hands-on opportunity to produce a finished hide.
There is no cost for the class and materials will be provided.

keyboarding, online Food Handlers Card class, Cultural activities,
Cultural classes, student support group and field trips.

Beginning Beading Class-max 10 people. Class starts Wednes
day May 24 l:30-3pm every Wednesday, for 10 weeks.
A11 Tribal members must sign up through short-term training
for all classes that will be offered, and must attend 75 percent of
classesor show a completed project or certificate at the end of the
course. Any questions on how to fill out a short term training packet
please call Josh Clift in Education at 1-800-422-0232 ext. 1635 or
the Eugene Office staff.
Community Potluck: 2nd Saturday of the month. Please bring
a dish to feed 10 people, stories to share and a smile.
Genealogy Day: every Friday at 3-4pm, the club works together
on 1 family a month collectively & will have the family featured on
a family tree wall mural.
Elders' lunch and social: Every Monday 12-1 p.m.
