DATE TIME
September 28 5 p.m.
Please call 1-800-422-0232 ext. 1309 and verify the time 24 hours in advance.
To all Tribal members,
I am writing a letter to everyone because it affects everyone. I just want to
talk about Tribal Council and other leaders in our Tribe. I think our people have
suddenly forgot that we are all one. So when one person assumes or makes com
ments about one person or a person's family it will affect a lot more people than
you realize. As a leader, you need to act in a manner to represent everyone as a
whole. Like the old saying I have heard time and time again, "If you can't say
anything nice then don't say anything at all." In the long run, it does nothing
for you to put someone down. We all need to realize people make mistakes. It's
a great leader that can admit that they made a mistake. So please remember
you are our youth role models. One day they will be our leaders, so act in a
manner that you want them to act. Please, make it easier on everyone and re
spect everyone.
Thank you,
Rebecca Knight

All CTGR Tillicum,
Grand Ronde made a good showing this past weekend at the Klamath Restora

I am very proud of all of you. Congratulations and Keep on Dancing!
Kayla Kneeland, Kallie and Miranda Provost and Izzy Atanacio also danced,
but did not compete; nonetheless, they represented our Tribe in a good way. Kevin
John also danced from the heart and represents all of us in a way that makes us
proud. You all danced great and looked fabulous! Even our young and not so
young adults: Anthony, Jesse & Fabian Quenelle, Marcus Gibbons, Elaine
LaBonte, CeCe Kneeland, Deitz Peters and adopted CTGR Tillicum Rose Star
Peters and Vernon Kennedy, you all make Grand Ronde proud! Last but not
least, thanks and acknowledgement to our Grand Ronde Honor Guard.
All of you represent our Tribe in a good way, and I acknowledge and thank you
for that.
One of your biggest fans,
