The Environmental Assessment will be in accordance with NEPA and HUD regulations. The project will consist of one site of approximately 30 acres situated within Yamhill County. The use of the property will be for the development of a Recreation Center with future projects such as football, soccer, lacrosse, running track, field house, grand stand; skate board & roller blade facili ties; baseball and softball, hitting cages, stands, score keeper facilities; swim ming, wrestling, and administrative facility; and other such activities using a mixture of Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde (Tribal) and HUD funds. Some preliminary staff work has been done on the Environmental Checklist and will be provided to the selected consultant. A Guidebook for Performing Environmental Reviews, prepared by the Office of Native American Programs, Housing and Urban Development Department, will also be provided.
