Who: Grand Ronde Tribal Members and Community
What: The Confederated Tribes ot Grandjpnde invites you to the
dedication of a permanent monument honoring the Nichaqwli
People of the Blue Lake area. The monument commemorates
the meeting with the Lewis and Clark Expedition and provides
a lasting legacy to the Nichaqwli People. This all day event
will include dancing, exhibits, demonstrations, singing, and
more. Come check it outl You will not want to miss this
unique event I
Where: Blue Lake Regional Park, between Marine Drive and Sandy
Boulevard off Northeast 223rd Avenue. (Slightly north of
Portland.)
When: Saturday, August 6, 2004 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
This is a free event, however parking is $4.00.
