Dig Site NW Natural Gas Company upgraded the gas lines from
two inches to four inches. They will be rerouting 3,500 feet of polyehylene
pipe because of a bridge being built on Highway 18. In the event of
finding a Native American bone or artifact, N. W. Natural would stop the
job immediately. District Crew Leader for N.W. Natural Lupe Garcia
explained that he would shut the job down and make the appropriate
calls. Environmental Consultant Mike Hayward would examine the
artifact and determine what the next step would be. Construction would
