in 1 983 and brings back the old traditions. Afterwards, Melissa volunteered to sell raffle tickets at the pow-wow to raise money for the family of a hospitalized Tribal
member. Melissa is the daughter of Brad and Tracy Biery of Dallas. See story and more photos on page 7.

Art Of Our Ancestors On the weekend of October 29-3 1 , about a
hundred people came as the Tribe hosted the Circle of Weaving gathering in the
community center organized by Tribal member Elaine LaBonte. There were
many finished baskets (above) on display from Tribal members.
