On Tour Six Tribal youth were taken to the Northwest Indian Youth Confer
ence in Rapid City, South Dakota. The trip, arraigned by the Grand Ronde Youth
Social Services Prevention Department, was a chance not only for kids to network
and learn leadership skills, but also to take in the stunning scenery as well. The
students, traveling with chaperone and program coordinator Lisa Leno, (above,
fourth from right) visited such well-known sites such as Mount Rushmore, Crazy
Horse National Monument and the Badlands.
