March 27 on our day of giving thanks for the harvesting of our natural
foods. Also, to the ones that took part in the ceremony and memorial for

tion about the current and future housing needs of Elders
and Young Elders to create a housing project that meet your

The Cultural Education Program is seeking to create a list of certified
Tribal member teachers for future projects. If you are a certified teacher,
would like to live or teach in the Grand Ronde area and would be willing
to do so through the Chinuk Wawa language, we want to hear from you.

GRAVESTONE CLEANING
The Tribal cemetery is a repository of unique genealogical, histori
cal, religious, cultural, and societal information that may not be re
corded in any other format. It is filled with history and irreplaceable
artwork.
Please join the Cultural Resource Department and Facility Man
agement on May 12, 2004, 2 p.m. at the Tribal cemetery for informa
tion on gravestone cleaning and cemetery preservation.
Tribal offices will be closed half a day (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) on Friday,
May 28 and all of Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day.
