5:03 p.m. Meeting was called to order by Tribal Council Vice Chairman,
Reyn Leno. A quorum was present.
Present was Jack Giffen, Jr., Val Grout, Bob Haller, Ed Larsen, Reyn Leno,
Jan D. Reibach, Valorie Sheker-Robertson and June Sell-Sherer.
Excused was Cheryle Kennedy.
Invocation was done by Jan D. Reibach.
PREVIOUS MINUTES APPROVEAMEND
Bob I laller moved, Jack Giflen, Jr. seconded to approve the February 4, 2004,
Tribal Council regular meeting minutes as presented. Motion carried 7-0-0.
NEW BUSINESS
LEGISLATIVE ACTION COMMITTEE
Cooperative Agreement for Government to Government Participa
tion in CERCLA Activities of the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Jan D. Reibach moved, Bob Haller seconded to adopt Resolution No. 017-04
authorizing the submission of the Cooperative Agreement (i.e. Superfund Grant)
and the Tribe will pay for the indirect on the grant. Motion carried 7-0-0.
WaterdogThin Timber Sale. Val Grout moved, Valorie Sheker-Robertson
seconded to adopt Resolution No. 018 04 approving the timber sale of Waterdog
Thin Logging Unit, with a bid opening set for February 23, 2004. Motion
carried 7-0-0.
Isler & Co. L.L.C. Settlement Agreement. Jack Giffen, Jr. moved, Bob
Haller seconded to adopt Resolution No. 019-04: 1) approving the proposed
Settlement Agreement, as presented by the Tribal Attorney, between the Tribe
and Isler & Co. L.L.C. settling the Tribe's lawsuit (known as Case No. 0211
11118) against Isler & Co. L.L.C.; and 2) authorizing the Tribal Chairwoman to
finalize and execute said Settlement Agreement with such changes as the Chair
woman, or in her absence, the Vice Chairman, after consultation with the Tribe's
attorneys, deems necessary. Motion carried 7-0-0.
5:09 p.m. Val Grout moved, Valorie Sheker-Robertson seconded to adjourn
the meeting. Motion carried.

The Tribal member community meetings for the Grand Ronde Tribes will be held in May to share information on current Tribal Dlans and to
gather information for goal setting. Included will be a review of recent projects and key achievements. Comments will be used in guiding
programs and projects and in grant applications (e.g. Community Development Block Grant, Administration for Native Americans, HeadStart,
etc.). YOUR PARTICIPATION IS NEEDED, APPRECIATED AND MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
A full buffet meal will be served at the start of each meeting and there will be a coffee break during each meeting. The meetings will be held at
the following locations in Portland, Eugene and Grand Ronde.
