The Color Of Life A Fancy Dancer is enveloped in a swirl of color as he performs his quick-stepping routine at the annual Veterans' Pow-wow, held at on Saturday, Novem
ber 8 at Chemawa Indian School in Salem. The Veterans' Pow-wow is a time when the Native community comes together and recognizes the sacrifices made by its warriors,
who have always been held in high regard. Hundreds of Natives from all over Oregon and Washington came to pay respect to the Veterans in the traditional way, with songs of
