Bonnie Jean Houck
Bonnie Jean Houck, 70, of Willamina passed away June 4.
She was born June 16, 1932 in McMinnville to Harley and LaFern
Harpole Myers.
Raised and educated in Willamina, she graduated from Willamina
High School in 1950.
For the last 26 years she worked at the Green Frog Restaurant in
Sheridan. Her family said she was the best cook in Yamhill County.
Survivors include a son, Terry Houck of Willamina; daughters,
Shelley Kent and Donna Lux, both of Sheridan and Arnell Rodgers
of Cottage Grove; a brother, Richard Meyers of Tigard; 10 grandchil
dren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
step-father, Elroy T. Smith.
Services were held at Evergreen Memorial Park in McMinnville.
