Casino's Fight Night at the Rose Garden on July 18. De La Hoya said he wants to change the sport of boxing for the better with a new series

Housing Authority Looks Forward
New staffers take on growing project load.

Tribal Housing Authority
(GRTHA) took root in 1996.

pansion of opportunities for
Tribal members in Grand
Ronde.
In part, because of the con
straints of local water availability and sani
tary sewer service, GRTHA is moving sooner

serving Tribal mem
bers in a wider geo
graphic area.
"Until now," said
Layden. "All new con
struction has been re
lated to the Grand

Ronde area, but now we are thinking
about areas beyond Grand Ronde." In fact,
while the Tribe's service area includes six
neighboring counties (Polk, Yamhill,
Marion, Washington, Multnomah, and
Tillamook), GRTHA's service area includes
ten (Polk, Yamhill, Marion, Tillamook,
Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas,
Linn, Benton and Lincoln) and two
GRTHA programs already extend beyond
the 10-county area.
These ever widening efforts for GRTHA,
not all of which have received a Tribal Council
