with the Grand Ronde Tribe through a con
certed effort by the Coquille Tribe and the
University of Oregon. Jason Younker, the
Culture Committee Chair for the Coquille
Indian Tribe, delivered the documents on
Tuesday, April 23. The materials were
copies of important Tribal-related infor
mation (maps, treaties and pictures) from
Tribes from all over the Northwest. "We
wanted the Grand Rondes to have these
documents because we felt it was the
right thing to do," said Younker.

Fashionable - Tribal Youth Morgan
Hofenbredl shows off her Milton safari outfit to
the crowd at the first annual Spirit Mountain
Spring Fashion Show held at the casino and
hosted by Spirit Mountain Clothing on Friday, April
12. Hofenbredl, the daughter of Tribal member
Kevin Hofenbredl and his wife Marta and the
grandchild of Tribal Elder Priscilla Hofenbredl and
her husband Larry, was part of a group of ca
sino employees and their children who displayed
their fashion sense at the event.

NO Sequins For This Star Casually dressed country music star Collin Raye performed at Spirit
Mountain Casino on Thursday, April 11 to a loud and appreciative crowd. Raye, a Texas native, has nine best
selling albums to his credit so far and won the 1999 Gospel Music Association Country Song of the Year Award
and the 1997 Academy of Country Music Video of the Year Award for his hit single "I Think About You."

Country music superstar Collin Raye had the crowd on its feel during
his March 20 show at Spirit Mountain Casino. Cowboy boots and
ten-gallon hats were the order of the day as Raye rocked the house
with his signature blend of country rhythms and socially consious lyrics.
The crowd loved it and cheered Raye to an encore perfomance as a finale
to the show.
Raye, who has had eight number one country music singles as well as four
platinum albums, is no stranger to Spirit Mountain, this being his second
show at the casino.
Raye is one of just eight country artists to have his first four albums reach
