The Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority (GRTHA) is soliciting bids by
5:00 p.m., April 5 from contractors to perform periodic maintenance
work on GRTHA owned housing in Grand Ronde. All contractors are re
quired to meet Davis Bacon Standards. Bids for services needed in the
following areas: general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, concrete
and painting. Contact GRTHA to receive related bid packets and additional

SPECIAL HOUSING MEETING
The Grand Ronde Tribal Council and the Housing Authority Board of
Commissioners invite you to attend a special meeting to be held on Mon
day April 8, 2002 to discuss home ownership, sales and related issues at
Grand Meadows.
The meeting will take place in two sessions, each lasting one hour, and
will be held at the Grand Ronde Community Center beginning at 6:00
p.m.
D The first session exclusively for Grand Meadows homeowners will be
gin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m.
a The second session is open to the general membership and will begin
at 7:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.

NWIHA SCHOLARSHIP FOR TRIBAL YOUTH
The Northwest Indian Housing Association (NWIHA) annually provides
scholarships to Tribal youths, defined as individuals ages 24 years old, or
younger. The intent is to provide financial awards to youth for education
and training programs at schools, colleges, job training organizations, sports
camps or other worthwhile organizations. Funding for sports camps are
limited to a maximum of 30 percent of any year's awards. Historically,
individual awards have not exceeded $1,000. Applications are available
by contacting the Housing Authority at 503-879-2401. Applications
must be turned in to the Housing Authority by April 26, no later
than 5 p.m.
