Tribal Member Earns Degree
Tribal Family Touts Triplets
I am extremely proud to be given this
opportunity to address you all during
this wonderful and momentous time.
I would like to announce the comple
tion of my Bachelors Degree in Man
agementOrganizational Leadership
from George Fox Christian Science
University.
This accomplishment would have
never been possible if it weren't for the
support from my family and friends...
My husband John (JR) Robertson
was my rock, thanks honey for all
you've done, your support has truly
made me what I am today.
My children Gary Guzman, Eric
Sabin and Anthony Sabin have given
me encouragement love and patience,
this degree is truly for them. Thanks
guys you've proven to not only be the
greatest things on earth but also the
greatest friends a mom could have! I
love you guys dearly.
I would also like to acknowledge
my assistant Amy Justen who weath
ered the worst of times and the best of
times during the last two years.
Thanks Amy, not only for your sup
port that has meant so much to me
but for your friendship as well! You
are truly a God sent!
I would also like to thank my
mother (Vicki Long) who always be
lieved in me. My sisters Dawn,
Launie, Marjorie and Nikki who al
ways supported me. My "Pop" who
raised me and taught me that hard
work is something that reaps great
rewards. .My uncles Jan and Mike
Reibach for all your loving words and
hugs.
My two very best friends Barb
Lake and Janell Haller for supporting
me with love and kindness, even when
the chips were down!
Lynn "Bear" Robertson, God sent
you to me as a friend, thank you for
being there through everything for me.
I love you dearly.

I would also like to thank a few
people who were directly responsible
for mentoring me through my five
years with the Tribe: Pat Mercier,
Rebecca Crocker, Mychal Leno and
Camille Mercier thanks guys for
showing me it could be done.
A special thanks goes out to the
Education department and committee,
and the Tribal Council (past and
present) without the support from
the Tribe this degree would not have
been possible.
Last but not least, thank you to
my boss Chris Leno for his never end
ing support. '
I have probably left someone out and
I apologize in advance for this although
I would like everyone to know that
each and every individual contribution,
no matter how small it may seem,
should be taken to heart as equally
worthy in each step towards a proper
outcome. Each vision, individual or
collective, has power to successfully
create its own unique reality. The
more we now pause to reflect on ex
pectations of the past and note the ac
tual accomplishments as well as the
milestones that have been made, the
more unreal it all seems.
Thanks, to all of you.
