Her family then moved to Denver,
Colorado when she was nine. She is
the daughter of Jim and Mary Rose.
Kennedy moved here from Denver,
with her husband Brian and her two
children Kelsey, 11 and Jesse, 7.
Now residing in Sheridan, her new
duties will include filing, copying,
faxing and general office procedures.
Kennedy is also in charge of the ten
ants of the Elder's housing, which also
includes collecting rent payments.
"I will also deal with the new ten
ants in our new project (family hous
ing) we have coming up," said
Kennedy. "With the new housing
project, my duties will be expanding
and I will be ready for whatever."
When she isn't working, she loves
spending time with her family.
BI also love to read," said Kennedy.
"We (family) go biking in the Salem
area. Last summer we acquired a
boat, but the water levels are so low
this year that there isn't really any
place to go."
Kennedy enjoys the duties of her
new job.
"I really like working out here,"
said Kennedy. "I'm very fortunate
to have fallen in with such a good
group of people."
Kennedy now works under the di
rection of Linda Layden, the Hous
ing Director
"We are really glad to have her
here," said Layden. "She brings ex
perience in property management to
the program. She is a great asset to
our department. She is doing a great
job for us."
