Summers Graduates with Bachelor's Degree
FRANK HOWARD SUMMERS is
graduating from Southern Oregon Univer
sity at Ashland, Oregon on June 16, 2001
with a Bachelor of History.
Frank is the son of the late Albert Sum
mers, Sr., Chiloquin, Oregon and
Claudette Parazoo (Summers) of Grand
Ronde, Oregon.
His family congratulates Frank on this
achievement. Frank's sisters are Mary
Gentry and Roylene Harrington of
Chiloquin and Kristy Summers of Grand
Ronde. His brothers are Albert Summers,
Jr. of Chiloquin, and Keith, Kevin, and
Anthony Williams of Tulalip, Washington.
Frank has been active in the Indian Pow
wows all of his life. He coached the fresh
men football team for Ashland High School
fall 2000. Frank was an all-star football
player his senior year at Chiloquin High
School and played in England with other Oregon all-star football players.
Congratulations Frank. Your family is proud of your honors.

Pichette Family Reunion
Parazoo Earns Associate's Degree
LUCAS E. PARAZOO graduated with his As
sociates of Applied Science in Criminal Justice,
at Central Oregon Community College in Bend
Oregon, this June. Luke is currently a Counse
lor at J-Bar-J Youth services, which serves ad
judicated male adolescents. He is also a volun
teer at the Deschutes County Parole and Proba
tion Offices. Lucas is the son of Tribal Member
Dan Parazoo and the Grandson to the late
Marshall (Buke) Parazoo.
Luke was able to attend college through the
short-term training, and continuing distance
education program.

The Jeffers Family Reunion is scheduled for Sunday, August 12 from 10:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fern Ridge Lake, Orchard Pt. main gate, 8-12 miles
west on Clear Lake Road, off Highway 99N. in Eugene.
Please bring your favorite dish. Paper plates and silverware provided. $3
