The Tribal Membership Community Meetings for the Confederated Tribes of Grand
Ronde will be held In mid-April to share information on current Tribal plans and to
gather information for goal setting. Comments will be used in guiding programs and
projects and in grant applications (e.g. HUD Indian Community Development Block
Grant, DHHS Administration for Native Americans, Head Start, Dept. of Justice, etc.).
Included will be a review of recent projects, key achievements in following up on last
year's comments and additional information from the Social & Economic survey. Your
participation Is needed, appreciated and makes a difference.
A deli buffet will be served at the start of each meeting and there will be a coffee
break. The meetings will be held at the following locations In Tualatin, Eugene and
Grand Ronde. The sites In each city are the same as last year.

6:00 to 8:30 pm 7125 S.W. Nyberg Road
Ten miles south of Portland. Take 1-5 Exit 289 and go east on Nyberg Road. ,
The Inn Is just east of the Interchange on your left.

Three miles south of Eugene. A half mile west of 1-5 Exit 189 on 30th Avenue.
(From Eugene take Exit 189 but go a half mile along side 1-5, on McVay Highway, to get to 30th
Ave.) Go west on 30th Ave., left onto Eldon Schafer Drive and then around the college to the
south parking lot (parking lot L). The meeting is In the Forum Building (Bldg.17) Room 308.

"Elgin in Concert" - A benefit concert was held at the Spirit
Mountain Casino on March 21 for the Doernbecher Children's Hospital. The
event was put together by Lori Luttrell (below) and Elgin Bruner (above).
The event raised over $4,000 dollars for the hospital. Bruner is known as the
"Master of 88 Keys." Luttrell and Bruner are both employed at the casino.
