Ordinance
The Tribal Council in consultation with
the Tribal Attorney's Office has proposed
amending the Health Authority Ordi
nance to provide that a majority of the
voting members on the Health Author
ity Board be Tribal members. Section
(d)(1) of the Health Authority Ordinance,
as amended, would read as follows:
"The board shall consist of at least five
(5) but no more than nine (9) voting mem
bers, who shall be appointed by a major
ity vote of the Council. A majority of the
voting members shall be Tribal members."
The first reading of the proposed
amendment to the Health Authority Or
dinance was presented at the January
31, 2001 Tribal Council meeting.

posed amendment. Please send your

be received by April 1, 2001.
