STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
I 1. All students are responsible for having their grade reports sent to the Tribal Educa-
I tion program upon completion of each term or semester. Either make arrangements
with the Registrar's Office to have the reports sent directly to the Tribal Education
office or mail a copy of your grade report to the Tribal office yourself.
I 2. Students please notify the Tribal Educational program of address changes and tele-
I phone number changes.
j 3. If emergencies occur that effect your attendance notify the Tribal Education pro
I gram and your college IMMEDIATELY. (Tribal Education office, College Business office,
i College Financial Aid office and College Registrar's office.)
4. You must maintain 2.00 GPA and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per term
I or semester to be eligible for assistance.
I 5. Students who are placed on PROBATIONARY STATUS will not be awarded funds
j the following term until they have provided the Education program an OFFICIAL COPY
of their transcripts. Transcripts must include the term of probation and must show
I successful completion of 12 credit hours earned with at least a 2.00 GPA. NO AWARD
WILL BE MADE UNTIL TRANSCRIPTS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED.
1 6. Continuing students must file their Federal Financial Aid Forms by February 15. You
I must provide a copy of your application to the Tribal Education program for filing verifica-
tion. ,
j 7. All students must sign a "Release of Information" form regarding attendance, finan
I cial aid transcripts, education budgets, progress and grade reports.
8. It is your responsibility to remain in "good academic standing." If a student demon
strates an "on-again, off-again" pattern of being placed on PROBATIONARY STATUS,
I they will placed on Probationary Status for one complete academic year. Failure to met
I minimum academic requirements during this period will result in a SUSPENSION,
j 9. Students who withdraw from school due to medical or health related reasons must
obtain a Statement of Verification from their physician or health care provider identifying
a need to withdraw from school. Students must obtain a Statement of Release from
their physician that identifies ability to return to school. Copies of physician's statements
must be provided to the Tribal Education program.
I 10. Students entering their SENIOR year are required to have a GRADUATION AUDIT
I OR EVALUATION completed Fall Term and provide a copy of the Audit or Evaluation to
the Tribal Education program.

Summer Internships
Offered by State Farm Insurance
Regardless of the area in which you work, you can develop critical job
skills, meet new people and possibly end up with a new job at the end of a
three month internship offered by State Farm Insurance. Hourly wage can
be up to $13.55 depending on location. Applicants must be entering their
final year of undergraduate studies (graduating in December 2001-June
2002). A 3.0 minimum GPA is preferred.

Internships Offered in Seaside, Oregon
The next Dorchester Conference to be held in Seaside, Oregon is offering
internships to the conference. This is Oregon's largest grassroots conference
where people from all parts of Oregon gather to discuss issues, articulate
thoughts, meet elected leaders and learn that politics can be not only inter
esting, but fun is meeting March 2-4, 2001 in Seaside, Oregon.
Fifteen internships are available to students, enrolled in high school or
college (between the ages of 14 and 22). The intern will have their confer
ence registration reimbursed, however they will be responsible for their own
travel and accommodations.
Each intern will be assigned specific duties for an approximate two hour
time period. The rest of the time, they will be able to participate as a del
