The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde wishes
to retain an architecturalengineering team to per
form planning, design and construction manage
ment services for a new Education and Small Busi
ness Development building to be constructed on
the Tribal Governance Center campus located at
9615 Grand Ronde Road, Grand Ronde, Oregon.
Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are being solic
ited from interested firms that are licensed and
qualified to provide architectural and engineer
ing services for the project. The RFP format out
lines the information that must be submitted by
each firm in order to be considered for selection.
Specific information regarding document submit
ted procedures and due dates will be found in the
section "Instruction to Bidders."
Respondents shall provide a written proposal by
5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2000, to John Merrier,
Capital Improvements Division Manager at 9615
Grand Ronde Road, Grand Ronde, OR 97347. All

. The Public Works Department is developing a list of contractors wishing to bid on various capital
improvement projects for the Tribe. Contractors that are owned by or employ Tribal members and wish

ext. 2404. Please indicate your business name, telephone, specialty and name(s) of
Tribal members employed.
Elders need furniture
Many Elders moving into the new Elder's Hous
ing Development in Grand Ronde have requested
the need for furniture. The Social Services De
partment will be accepting donations of furniture
or money to assist the Elders that are moving into
the community with furnishings. If you can help,

Petition For Change of Name Juvenile
Merrie Grace Norling, Applicant
by Jimmie G. Pichette, Petitioner
The Petitioner, Jimmie G. Pichette, on behalf of the
Applicant, MERRIE GRACE NORLING, a minor
child, has petitioned the Court for a Change of Name
for the minor child. Applicant allegedly desires to change
his or her name to Merrie Grace Pichette, for the rea
son stated that: Applicant's last name differs from the
last name of the parent or guardian and he or she wishes
to assume the last name of the parent or guardian.
Based on the foregoing petition filed with the Court
on June 27, 2000, and good cause appearing therefor,
IT IS ORDERED THAT the Petitioner and any per
son objecting to the granting of the petition shall ap
pear in the Tribal Court of the Confederated Tribes of
the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, located in the
Governance Center, room 106 at 9615 Grand Ronde
Road, Grand Ronde, Oregon on September 21, 2000
at 11:00 a.m. to show cause why the Court should not
enter judgement granting the proposed change of name.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that any written re
sponse to this Order by any party to this case shall be
filed on or before Monday, September 11, 2000. The
Clerk of the Tribal Court shall cause a copy of this Or
der to be served upon all parties in accordance with
Rule 14 of the Rules of Pleading, Practice and Proce
dure of the Tribal Court of the Confederated Tribes of
the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and file proof of
service with the Court on or before the date set for hear
ing in this matter.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Petitioner shall
cause a copy of this Order to be published in the Tribal
Newspaper at least 20 days prior to the date set for
hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED THIS 31ST DAY OF JULY,
